Wyandotte Toy Truck
This week Architecturals.net is offering our lucky winner a Wyandotte Chevrolet-style dump truck with wooden wheels, which was manufactured between 1937 and 1941. The earliest versions of this truck were produced with litho wheels, while later editions were produced with the wooden wheels. Early Wyandotte toy trucks were seldom marked on the body. The rubber and the embossed wooden wheels were sometimes marked with Wyandotte, while the plain wooden wheels found on this truck were not. Although worn in spots from use, the green body, black frame and red dumping bed have maintained much of the original paint. This toy truck is fully operational, however the headlamps and bumper are missing. Measuring 11 inches long and 3 ¾ inches tall, this is a true classic.
